Keith Blanchet is the Vice President of Government and Defense at ST Engineering iDirect, where he leads Government Relations, strategic initiatives, and oversees business development efforts in the international government and defense sectors.
Prior to joining ST Engineering iDirect, he led the Business Development team at Ultra Intelligence and Communications, managing defense markets from 2020 to 2024. Over the course of his 30-year career, Blanchet has developed deep expertise in defense and technology sectors, with nearly half of that time focused specifically on the international defense market.
His leadership in transforming go-to-market strategies has helped companies pivot for aggressive growth, particularly in the defense sector. Notable achievements include his contributions to Bombardier Defense (now L3 Harris MAS), CAE Marine Systems (now L3 Harris MAPPS), and most recently, Ultra Intelligence & Communications.
Blanchet holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the École de Technologie Supérieure and an MBA certificate from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
