Pete is the Vice President EMEA, for Earth Daily Analytics and globally responsible for Defence and Intelligence aspects of the business. EarthDaily uses its own constellation of 10 LEO satellites to deliver multispectral data into its own AI analytics engine to support a wide range of space date derived products.
Previously, during his 33-year military career as a fast jet pilot he served in the USA twice and in Brussels. Outside flying he majored in International Defence Relations and Capability Development. After a tour as the UK Representative to NATO Supreme Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk VA he became the Capability Director in the European Defence Agency. Here he was responsible for more than 100 Capability and Research and Technology programs including the EU ‘Flagship 4’; Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, Cyber Defence, Air-to-Air Refuelling and the Government Satellite Communications program. He oversaw the relationship with OCCAR and defence industries for capability issues across the whole defence domain. More recently he chaired Kleos Space, a listed company, which launched 16 satellites for RF Geolocation. Most recently he supported a startup developing an in-space Space Domain Awareness capability.
Today he is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society as well as its Chair of Trustees, he is a Correspondent of the Academie de l’Air et de l’Espace and a Consulting Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
