Franck Mouriaux is the Director of Space Program at FADA, an entity within the Space and Cyber Technologies cluster of EDGE Group, one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defence companies. He brings over 25 years of experience in the space industry as a dedicated and dynamic leader with a robust engineering background and a passion for innovation. In his current role, Franck leads the development of space programs at FADA, driving innovation and excellence in the sector. Prior to joining EDGE, Franck was a Program Manager at Rocket Lab USA. He oversaw the development of the Globalstar constellation, one of the largest commercial satellite programs. Before Rocket Lab USA, Franck was the Chief Technology Officer at Morf3D Inc., a start-up specialising in additive manufacturing for aerospace. He played a crucial role in the company’s growth and established himself as an expert in additive manufacturing. In 2000, Franck was with RUAG Space, where he led and contributed to various projects across Europe and the US, focusing on launch and space vehicles, mechanical engineering, and systems engineering. His tenure at RUAG Space included roles as Chief Engineer for the Spacecraft Product Group and General Manager of the Product Unit Structures, where he consistently delivered high-quality results that exceeded customer expectations. Franck’s space career began in 1997 as a Mechanical Engineer at Thales Alenia Space. He holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace from Ecole d’ingénieurs Aéronautique et Spatiale Toulouse – IPSA in France.
