Steve joined Eutelsat in 2025 as a senior member of the Connectivity Business Leadership Team, where he leads global Strategy, Business Development, and Growth initiatives across the satellite communications portfolio. His mandate spans both Eutelsat’s traditional geostationary satellite services and the company’s flagship Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation, OneWeb. Steve plays a key role in shaping Eutelsat’s international market engagement including close collaboration with the U.S. division and the development of long-term, innovation-driven partnerships with industry and government stakeholders.
Before entering the commercial satellite sector, Steve served for 16 years in the UK Royal Navy Submarine Service, specializing in C4ISR systems Since transitioning to the private sector in 2001, he has held several prominent leadership positions at Airbus Defence & Space, Inmarsat and at CAE.
Steve’s career reflects a deep understanding of both defense and civilian connectivity requirements, with a proven ability to lead in highly technical, mission-critical environments. He is known for his strategic clarity, cross-cultural leadership, and ability to translate global priorities into operational success.
Married to Lauren, with whom he shares a passion for travel, Steve enjoys globe-trotting family adventures and discovering international cultures. When not abroad, he can often be found walking the countryside and coastal paths near home.
