Commanding Officer, Space Based ISR Collection and Exploitation Center (CESAEROB)

Colonel Juan Soriano Paradinas is the recently designated Commanding Officer of the Space Based ISR Collection and Exploitation Center (CESAEROB) of the Spanish Air and Space Force. He is a transport pilot and graduated from the Spanish Air and Space Force Academy in 1996.
As a lieutenant and captain flew more than 4.000 hours, participated in SFOR and KFOR tours flying over former Yugoslavia area of operations and worked as flight safety officer for 10 years.
As a major and lieutenant colonel he graduated from the Command and Staff Course in 2012 in Spain and worked in intelligence support to air operations in the Spanish AIRCOM, completed a tour in Afghanistan and he was head of Intelligence & Security Section of the Spanish Emergency Military Unit’s staff (UME) for 4 years.
More recently, he’s been as head of Space Operations Section of the Spanish Space
Command’s staff and in last July he assumed command of the CESAEROB.
