A widely respected executive in the global satellite industry, Mr. Pozzebon brings more than four decades of experience to his role, including more than 35 years with MDA Space. As Vice President of Satellite Systems, he is responsible for the company’s global satellite strategy and business. Mr. Pozzebon’s technical and market vision have positioned MDA Space as a leader in the evolving satellite industry. Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Pozzebon has played an instrumental role in complex satellite technology programs that have fundamentally changed the space industry in satellite communications, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and the field of space robotics. He has held a wide range of responsibilities in digital engineering, systems engineering, engineering management, business execution, business leadership and strategy development. Mr. Pozzebon began his career as a project engineer at avionics manufacturer CMC Electronics, where he designed advanced software and hardware for civil and military applications. Mr. Pozzebon’s leadership was recognized with a “Best Executive Award” by the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business in 2024. He holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from McGill University.
