After joining the RAF in 1998, Graham worked in intelligence support to air operations, completing operational tours around the globe. She has led tactical imagery exploitation units and played a leading role in developing Counter-UAS ‘drone’ capabilities and tactics. Her NATO experience was gained at SHAPE J2, and she has been the capability programme manager for the RAF’s MQ-9 fleet. After graduating from UK Advanced Command and Staff Course, she worked for Vice Chief of Defence Staff in the MoD Secretariat where she gained a privileged insight into the highest levels of Defence.
As a Group Captain, Graham had responsibility for intelligence support to global operations, and Counterintelligence & Security at the Permanent Joint HQ, and has been Deputy Head of Operations at the National Centre for Geospatial Intelligence (NCGI) since 2024.
As Acting Air Commodore, Graham has taken Comd of NCGI for the period May to September 2026.
