Major General Armament Corps Michel SAYEGH joined the Ministry of Defence in 1993 as space system specialist engineer.
In 2002, he was appointed Program Director.and was in charge of the launch of the new generation HELIOS II A satellite.
From 2005 to 2008, he was Director of the Etablissement Technique d’Angers, one of the major DGA expertise and essay centre on military land systems.
From 2008 to 2012, he was Technical Director for Land Systems, having also the responsibility of « Safety Authority » for this domain.
From 2012 to 2018, he was DGA Chief Information Officer in charge of strategic orientations and operations of IT systems.
From 2018 and 2021, as “Source Solde” Program Director, he ran the successful step by step deployment of the new system in charge of paying French Armed Forces.
Since March 2021, he is Program Executive Officer for C5ISR including space assets, responsible in DGA for acquisition of associated systems.
