Xavier Bouthors is Head of Sales, Government Europe at SES, a role he took up in September 2026, leading sales and business development for government and defense customers across Europe.
He brings over 20 years of experience in the satellite communications industry, most recently as Head of Sales and Business Development at Sonema, part of MBS Group, and before that in senior government-facing roles at Inmarsat / Viasat in London, including Sales and BD Director for the French market, leading Government Sales in LATAM, and Account Management roles across Europe.
Earlier in his career, Xavier held product management and engineering roles at Inmarsat. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an Engineering Degree from IMT Nord Europe (France) and is based in Luxembourg.
