Hernández graduated with honors as aerospace engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds an MBA by the Robert Kennedy College. He has developed his long professional career in aerospace and defence sectors, holding C-level executive positions in different companies in the last 15 years. Carlos is currently leading the development of European programs within Hispasat, in particular the contribution to IRIS2, where Hispasat plays a key role as ground segment leader.
