Cornelius Vogt heads the EU SST Team of the SSA Department of the German Space Agency at DLR in Bonn, Germany. He is the Co-Chair of the EU SST Steering Committee and German Delegate to the EU Space Programme Committee in SSA configuration. In his previous position at the agency, he worked as a Desk Officer in the European Affairs Department where he coordinated diverse EU space security dossiers and was in charge of the EU Space Working Party. Prior to joining the German Space Agency, he worked in the space and armaments industry for several years. He has been associated with foreign and security policy think tanks in Germany and America. Cornelius Vogt has been a lecturer in space security policy and arms control in space at the Command and Staff College of the German Armed Forces. He is an active reserve officer in the branch for space operations at the German Air Force Command and a frequent author of articles on space security. He studied Political Science and Human Geography at the University of Potsdam, the Humboldt University of Berlin, the University of California Los Angeles, and Sciences Po Lille.
