Col Anna “sumo” Gunn-Golkin is the Chief of Staff and Space Planner at the U.S. Military Delegation to NATO, where she advises on space policy and operations. A distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School and Air Force Institute of Technology, she has led in orbital operations, space launch, flight test, multi-domain acquisition, and strategic policy. She also taught astrodynamics and rocket propulsion at her alma mater, the U.S. Air Force Academy. Her prior roles include commanding the Space Force’s premier Orbital Warfare Test Squadron, serving at NASA HQ and DARPA, and spending a year as a White House Fellow. She has over 600 flight hours in more than 35 different aircraft and has executed test operations on multiple spacecraft.
